about depolarizer
According to my calculations if the axis of the depolarizer is rotated
to 45 degrees from the horizontal direction with the input LHP light I
should obtain the smallest DOP(degree of polarization ).
Is there some way that I can easily determine depolarizer optical
axis? Normally, it is easy to determine the axis of a waveplate by
placing it between a pair of crossed polarizers and rotating the
waveplate until there is a null which take place at 90 degrees, 180
degrees,etc.
